Legion baseball: Fargo Post 2 scores comeback win over Wayzata

Post 2 scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to get the victory on Sunday at Jack Williams Stadium.

FARGO — Fargo Post 2 scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Wayzata 8-7 on Sunday at Jack Williams Stadium.

Post 2's Connor Holm was 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and he scored three runs. Adam Leininger drove in two runs and scored a run, and Aaron Breitbach doubled, drove in a run and scored.

Dylan Tostenson got the win, allowing a run on five hits in five innings.

Post 2, now 13-1, plays Grand Forks in a doubleheader on Monday, June 19, beginning at 5 p.m. at Jack Williams Stadium.
