Legion baseball: Fargo Post 400 wins two to open 'The Pete' tournament

Post 400 pitchers Logan Sullivan and Jake Jaroszewski picked up win in the Stars' two victories on Thursday.

FARGO — Fargo Post 400 defeated Tri City Red 4-2 in its first game of the Jim Pettersen Invitational on Thursday, then the Stars defeated the SE Twins 12-8 in the evening game.

Against Tri City, the Stars' Logan Sullivan got the win. He worked 6-2/3 innings, allowing three hits and striking out eight.

Easton Rerick was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs.

Stars' pitcher Jake Jaroszewski got the win against the SE Twins.

Colby Hanson, Hayden Kressin, Grant Matter and Oliver Lucht all had multiple hits.


On the second day of "The Pete" tournament, Post 400 plays the SE Twins at 1 p.m. and Manitoba at 4 p.m. Friday, July 1 at Starion Field.
