ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Mike Jones hit three home runs to help lead Fargo Post 2 to a 14-7 victory against Thunder Bay (Ont.) on Friday at the Gopher Classic American Legion baseball tournament.
Osseo (Minn.) scored a 7-4 victory against Post 2 in other Friday pool play.
Jones finished with four RBIs against Thunder Bay. Matt Fiechtner also added a home run.
In the loss against Osseo, Nick Salentine and Jordan Gefroh each had two hits, one run and one RBI to lead Post 2.
Post 2 (11-11) is slated to play Wayzata and Rosemount today.
