OMAHA, Neb. — The Moorhead Blues took down Lincoln Northeast 1-0 on an extra-inning walk-off before falling 5-2 to Adrian on Friday in the Battle of Omaha American Legion baseball tournament.
Against Lincoln Northeast, the game held scoreless until the 10th inning. In the bottom of the 10th, Carson Zimmel hit a bases-loaded walk-off single to center field to give the Blues the win.
The Blues moved to 8-6 overall and 1-3 in tournament play. They're slated to wrap up pool play at 8 a.m. Saturday against Desoto.
