Four local golfers have advanced to the final stage of qualifying for this year's U.S. Open.
Fargo South High School graduates Kane Hanson and Ben Freeman, Fargo North graduate Josh Persons and Fargo Oak Grove graduate Justin Jenkins each made it through local qualifying.
Sectional qualifying begins Monday.
The U.S. Open is scheduled for June 9-15 at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, Calif.
