VICTORIA, Minn. — Only two different Spuds scored Saturday, but that was enough for Moorhead to earn a 9-8 comeback victory over Holy Family in Minnesota boys lacrosse.
Kenny Bohney III scored five goals to pace the Spuds, including the game-winner with 14 seconds remaining. Cody Martinson scored four goals, three of which came in the first half.
Moorhead trailed 8-5 at one point in the second half, but netted four unanswered goals to close out the game, three of which came from Bohney.
The Spuds ended the regular season with a 5-5 overall record. They will face Buffalo in the Class 1A, Section 8 tournament Tuesday at Buffalo.
