After participating in the St. Louis Rams' three-day rookie minicamp over the weekend, University of Mary defensive lineman EJ Reid was offered a free agent contract on Monday.
Reid is one of only four players to have participated in the Rams' five-practice minicamp that signed with the team.
An All-Northern Sun selection in 2009, Reid becomes the first University of Mary player to sign a professional contract with an NFL team.
