Minnesota State Moorhead sophomore center Alex Novak set the school record for career blocked shots over the weekend.
Novak had three blocked shots in an 87-76 men's basketball victory against Upper Iowa on Saturday to run his career total to 114 blocks.
Mike Bednarek (1981-86) had the old record with 112 blocks in 73 games. Novak was able to eclipse that mark in 50 games.
