MINOT, N.D. - This city has been chosen as the site of the American Legion Baseball Central Plains Regional tournament next year.
Legion officials made the announcement Friday in a statement from Indianapolis. The Central Plains tournament is scheduled Aug. 14-19, 2008. Minot also will play in the double-elimination tournament, which will include championship teams from the Dakotas, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Wisconsin, legion officials said.
