Mix: Nudell close to making history for Maple Valley

TOWER CITY, N.D. -- Maple Valley senior standout Rylee Nudell is on the brink of breaking North Dakota's unofficial state girls basketball scoring record of 3,148 points held by Tanya Fischer of Bowman County.
Nudell is at 3,135 points entering Saturday's game against Hillsboro-Central Valley. She needs 13 points to tie the record and 14 points to break it. Game time is set for 3 p.m. in Tower City.
Nudell is signed to play basketball at North Dakota State.
