Moorhead High School athletic director Don Hulbert acknowledged Wednesday the school is investigating an incident involving some members of the boys hockey team.
Hulbert declined to further comment until the investigation is complete.
One Moorhead player was suspended for Tuesday's playoff game against Buffalo, according to head hockey coach Dave Morinville. It is not known if the suspension is related to the ongoing investigation.
It is the second time this year the hockey team has been investigated by the school. A parental complaint was made in December to the high school regarding hazing.
An unidentified number of players were suspended in January following the school's investigation of the hazing complaint. Morinville was also suspended for one game for "failing to provide adequate supervision of student-athletes," according to district policy and the Minnesota State High School League bylaws.
