ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - The Moorhead Blues scored seven unanswered runs in the final two innings of their 11-10 victory against Alexandria in American Legion baseball on Thursday.
Justin Pieterick sparked the run with a two-run home run in the eighth inning.
The Blues (8-7) went on to score five runs in the ninth.
Brian Ziegler and Kip Rieswig each had two base hits for Moorhead.
The Blues host Fargo Post 2 in a doubleheader at 5:30 p.m. today at Matson Field.
