EDINA, Minn.-Moorhead won the Junior Gold B state boys hockey championship Sunday at Braemar Arena with a 3-1 win over Elk River. It was the first out-state team to win a Junior Gold state tournament since Moorhead did it in 1995.
The team will be recognized on Tuesday, March 28, at the Minnesota Wild game.
Team members are: Taylor Collins, Noah Hendrickson, Reed Johnson, McKinnon Carlson, Marc Schuler, Zachary Olson, Skylar Schulz, Elijah Badar, Michael Lambrecht, Taylor Rapske, Logan Polomny, Gunnar Parr, Tory Bratlien, Kade Melander, Gavin Hall, Jack Krueger, Caleb McEwen, and Nick Berg.
