Chrissy Jacobs, a senior transfer from North Dakota State College of Science, was named Dragon female athlete of the week after helping MSUM to a sweep of St. Cloud State, Upper Iowa and South Dakota at the NCC-NSIC crossover tournament in Aberdeen, S.D. The Dragons' 12-0 start is the best in team history.

- Senior Joe Lynch, from Albertville, Minn., earned Dragon men's athlete of the week honors. Lynch placed fourth at the Maple Ridge Invitational to help MSUM to a second-place finish.

- The Dragon football team (0-3) managed just 108 total yards in a 51-3 loss to South Dakota. MSUM, which has been outscored 158-22 in three games this season, is averaging 1.9 yards a carry.
