Minnesota State Moorhead assistant men's basketball coach Kyle Taylor has been named head coach at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga.
"He was extremely sharp, extremely organized," said Engen. "I think the best way to characterize Kyle is he is well beyond his years. He's a young coach, but he is extremely gifted."
Taylor was an assistant at MSUM for one season.
"I have no animosity for someone coming in here one year and moving on," Engen said. "So I'm happy for him."
