MINOT, N.D.-Minnesota State Moorhead earned a pair of nonconference wins Saturday, September 2, in college volleyball at the Minot State Classic.
The Dragons beat Minot State 25-23, 20-25, 29-27, 25-16 followed by a 25-10, 25-22, 25-21 victory over South Dakota Mines.
Sophomore hitters Courtney Selbitchka and Kaylyn Jenkins had 17 kills apiece against Minot State. Freshman setter Ellie Hoyt added 44 set assists and 10 digs.
Junior libero Monica Vega had 23 digs against South Dakota Mines.
