MSUM women's soccer blanks Minot State

MINOT, N.D. — The Minnesota State Moorhead women's soccer team opened Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play with a 1-0 win over Minot State on Friday.

Forward Anna Steadland scored the Dragons' lone goal, in the 64th minute of the second half, off an assist by Mckenzie Ickert. Goalie Kayleigh Sedlacek had two saves.

Goalie Erin Rafferty made five saves for the Beavers.

MSUM (3-0-1 overall, 1-0-0 NSIC) plays University of Mary in Bismarck at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
