GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Fargo Shanley defeated Bismarck St. Mary's 2-0 and West Fargo edged Bismarck High 2-1 in the first round of the North Dakota state boys soccer tournament.
Shanley and West Fargo play each other at 3 p.m. Friday in the state semifinals.
Cam Hager scored both goals for Shanley.
Jade Johnson scored on a penalty kick in the 50th minute to net the game-winner for West Fargo.
