With national signing day one week from today, North Dakota State moved a couple of players closer to completing its 2011 football recruiting class.
It will include Fargo Shanley senior Dylan Dunn, who accepted NDSU's invitation as a recruited walk-on, and Roseau, Minn., linebacker Lyle Norman. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Dunn was a tight end-slotback-receiver for the Deacons and is projected as a possible tight end in college.
"He wants to be an engineer and it's always been his dream to play at NDSU," said Shanley head coach Steve Laqua. "He'll do whatever he can to get the opportunity."

NDSU is well known for its accredited electrical and computer engineering department.
Dunn had 42 catches for 610 yards and eight touchdowns. Laqua calls him a "real scrappy blocker." He said he was mainly recruited by Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schools.
Dunn was a part of two state championship teams and is the second player from Shanley to make his college plans known. Offensive lineman Connor McGovern verbally committed to Missouri this fall.
Norman has the size at 6-4, 232 pounds. He was a first team all-Heart O' Lakes Conference pick.
It brings to 20 the number of known verbal commitments to NDSU for the Feb. 2 signing day.
