Boasting a 14-5 overall record and riding a six-game win streak, North Dakota State's men's basketball team earned a No. 25 ranking in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll.
It marks the first time this season the Bison have cracked the poll. The last Summit League team ranked in the Mid-Major Poll was Oral Roberts, which was ranked No. 20 on Nov. 17.
The Mid-Major poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit League, Sun Belt, West Coast.
A total of 31 coaches comprise the voting panel.
