NDSU named Midwest Region Co-Coaching Staff of Year
North Dakota State's softball coaching staff was named the NCAA Midwest Region Co-Coaching Staff of the Year on Monday.
The Bison finished 38-20 overall and were ranked No. 18 in the final ESPN.com/USA Softball poll after making it to NCAA Super Regional round. NDSU also won The Summit League tournament and the NCAA Norman Regional.
NDSU was coached by Darren Mueller, who was assisted by Jamie Trachsel, Darcy Byrne and Destiny Frankenstein.
