Brock Jensen, the starting quarterback for North Dakota State's football team, will be disciplined after being charged last month with minor in possession or consumption of alcohol.
"Brock will go through the same discipline as other players we've had go through this," said Bison head coach Craig Bohl, who doesn't expect Jensen will miss any games because of the infraction. "That would be very inconsistent on our part. We are certainly disappointed and we are going to handle it."
Jensen, a 6-foot-2 redshirt freshman from Waupaca, Wis., was fined $325 for the infraction that occurred between Jan. 13 and 28. He was ordered 16 hours in the community work program.
Bohl said Jensen will also go through NDSU's standard student behavior process.
When he wasn't injured, Jensen started in seven of NDSU's 14 games last fall. He completed 45 percent of his passes for 950 yards and 7 touchdowns. He also ran for 231 yards.

Jensen helped lead the Bison to a 9-5 record and a No. 9 ranking in two national polls in the Football Championship Subdivision.
Jensen threw for 229 yards in a 43-17 playoff win over Robert Morris (Pa.) before he suffered a concussion in the 42-17 playoff win at Montana State. He returned one week later and passed for 128 yards in the 38-31 overtime loss to Eastern Washington in the FCS quarterfinals.
Jensen will be a sophomore for next year's Bison.
