North Dakota State's volleyball team has reached the top of the Summit - but it's crowded.

After Saturday night's decisive 30-25, 30-18, 30-18 sweep of Indiana Purdue-Indianapolis before 822 fans at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse, the Bison moved into a five-way tie for first place of the Summit League.

With four regular-season matches left, the Bison are tied with Oral Roberts, Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne, South Dakota State and Western Illinois - all with 9-3 league records. While the Bison (17-6 overall) rolled to its ninth sweep of the season, Western Illinois knocked off defending league champion Oral Roberts to create the logjam on top.
