NDSU women's soccer falls in Summit title game

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Kristen Hamilton netted two goals and had an assist while Nicholette DiGiacomo tallied a goal and two assists as Denver defeated North Dakota State 5-1 in the championship game of the Summit League women's soccer tournament Sunday.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Kristen Hamilton netted two goals and had an assist while Nicholette DiGiacomo tallied a goal and two assists as Denver defeated North Dakota State 5-1 in the championship game of the Summit League women's soccer tournament Sunday.

Anisha Kinnarath scored the Bison's lone goal, which was assisted on by Lauren Miller.

The loss drops North Dakota State to 9-10-0 and ends its season.

Denver receives the league's automatic bid into the NCAA women's soccer tournament.
