North Dakota State received yet another honor for its run of Division II women's basketball titles. The Bison winning their fourth straight Division II championship in 1996 was selected as one of the "25 Defining Moments in NCAA History."

The four-year run included a 32-0 season in 1994-95 and a 49-game winning streak.

"What a great honor for the program," said Lori Roufs, a starting forward on the '96 team. "Now, years later, I still have great memories and friendships that came out of four years of basketball at NDSU."

The 25 Defining Moments encompass all championship sports in divisions I, II and III.
