FARGO - North Dakota State senior guard Taylor Braun was named to the Associated Press men's basketball All-America team as an honorable mention selection, joining Ben Woodside (2009) as the only players in NDSU history to receive that distinction.
Braun, the Summit League's Player of the Year, averaged 17.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals. He scored in double figures 28 times, including four games of 30 or more points. Braun also posted single-game highs of 15 rebounds and 11 assists, and his 564 points scored this season were the eighth-most ever by an NDSU player.
Braun concluded his NDSU career ranked among the school's all-time top 10 in nine different statistical categories, including free throws made (4th), points (7th), steals (8th) and rebounds (9th).
