MOORHEAD - The Moorhead Veterans, a new semi-professional football team, will be holding tryouts on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Sanford Power Center in southwest Fargo.
The tryout combine, which will included a 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, three-cone drill and position-specific drills, will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Veterans have games scheduled for next May, June and July against the Tri-City North Stars of Grand Forks, the Minot (N.D.) Oilers, the Bismarck Wolves and the Washington County Generals of Eagan, Minn.
