Fargo Post 2 fell in the championship game of the Fargo-Moorhead Invitational American Legion baseball tournament Sunday, losing to New Ulm 16-5 at Matson Field in Moorhead.
New Ulm went undefeated in the tournament.
Brady Kays homered for Post 2 in the championship game.
Earlier on Sunday, Fargo defeated Mitchell (S.D.) 6-2.
David Ernst allowed just three hits in six innings for Fargo (20-6) against Mitchell.

The Moorhead Blues won their only game Sunday, defeating West Fargo 15-8.
Joe Pieterick went 3-for-3 with a homer and two runs for the Blues. Braden Rahman and John Cahill also homered for Moorhead (5-11).
