FORT WAYNE, Ind. - North Dakota State scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to defeat Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne 6-4 in the second game of a Summit League baseball doubleheader Sunday.
Tim Colwell finished with two RBIs for the Bison (15-14, 3-3 Summit).
Mastodons pitcher Steve Danielak allowed one earned run and struck out three batters in six innings as IPFW won the first game 4-3.
