LANGDON, N.D. — Simon Romfo had 335 yards in total offense Saturday to lead Langdon-Edmore-Munich into the semifinals.
The defending state champion Cardinals was led by Romfo, a junior quarterback who was 13-of-18 passing for 206 yards. He also rushed for 129 yards.
His favorite targets were twin brother Grant Romfo (83 yards on five catches, including two touchdowns) and Jackson Delvo (82 yards on three catches, including two touchdowns).
The Cardinals improved to 11-0.
Oakes quarterback Garret Meehl also had a strong game, completing 10-of-16 passes for 127 yards and rushing for 96 yards.

Minot Ryan 52, Bowman County 21
BOWMAN, N.D. — Minot Ryan rolled on the road to claim its quarterfinal win.
Ryan advances to the Nov. 9 semifinal game to be played at Velva. The other semifinal game will have Lisbon traveling to No. 1-ranked Langdon-Edmore-Munich.
Velva 14, Shiloh Christian 6
VELVA, N.D. — Jersey Selzler threw two touchdown passes to life Velva to a quarterfinal win.
Selzler threw a 15-yard scoring pass to Adam Schepp in the second quarter and a 92-yard scoring pass to Gage Florence in the third quarter. Velva also scored two points on a safety in the second quarter.
Jaden Mitzel scored Shiloh Christian’s lone touchdown on a one-yard run in the third quarter.
Velva will host Minot Ryan in a Nov. 9 semifinal game. On Sept. 20, Velva claimed a 32-24 home win over Ryan this season.
