WAHPETON, N.D. - Jamestown's Laura Kraft earned her second straight North Dakota state girls golf title and Minot won its second consecutive team crown when rain washed away the second round of the state tournament Tuesday at Bois de Sioux Golf Club.
Kraft, who shot an even-par 71 on Monday, is the first to win back-to-back medalist honors since Fargo Shanley's Jessica Monson in 1997 and 1998.
Minot finished the only round with a total of 325. Fargo Shanley finished second in the team race for the second straight year at 332.
Shanley's Liz Strom was second in the individual tournament with a 75.
