SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Northern Colorado won its second consecutive Division I Independent baseball championship with a 6-1 victory over North Dakota State.
Northern Colorado's Jeff Horn hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth giving the Bears a five-run lead.
Three Bison were named to the all-tournament team - Matt Mossey, Jared Sullivan and Charles Magedanz.
The Bison ended the year with a 12-41 record.
