Lower humidity thanks to a west breeze

This weekend will bring in cooler weather to the region, but there will still be some heat on Friday in the 80s. Friday evening will also present chances of storms in the Dakotas and Minnesota, some could be on the strong to severe side.

With these storms comes a cold front that will set up the theme of cooler weather for the weekend. Besides a couple of clouds over the weekend, conditions will be quiet with a west breeze.

Highs will be in the 70s for most of the region Saturday. With the cold front passing, humidity will drop from late this past week.

Sunday will be similar to Saturday. Highs will still be in the 70s but the breeze will lighten up in the Dakotas and move more into Minnesota. Warmer temperatures will return to the 80s to start next week.
