Obi Obembe picked up victories in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke and was a part of Fargo North's winning 200 medley relay, helping the Spartans secure the Eastern Dakota Conference boys swimming championship Saturday.
The Spartans edged West Fargo by just 16 points.
Adam Smestad of West Fargo won the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, while also helping the Packers secure a victory in the 400 freestyle relay.
West Fargo's Daniel Hulbert was named EDC Senior of the Year, while Fargo North's Dick Fisher was named EDC Coach of the Year.
