OMAHA, Neb. — The Mavericks shook off a first set loss, taking down North Dakota State 3-1 (23-25, 26-24, 25-23, 28-26) in Summit League volleyball Sunday afternoon.
Alexis Bachmeier tallied a double-double for the Bison, recording 15 kills and 14 digs. Syra Tanchin added 12 kills, while Kalli Hegerle led the Herd with 27 assists.
Sadi Limback's 21 kills led all players, while Sami Clarkson registered 58 assists for Omaha (8-7).
NDSU (5-8) falls to 0-2 in the Summit League and will host Purdue Fort Wayne at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.
