TULSA, Okla. — Oral Roberts dropped 51 second-half points en route to an 88-73 victory over the University of North Dakota men's basketball team Saturday night in Summit League play at Mabee Center.
UND trailed by five points at halftime and came within a single possession of tying the score in the early stages of the second half. A 9-0 run shortly thereafter all but secured the win for the hosts.
Four players scored in double figures for the Golden Eagles (9-8, 2-2 Summit), with Max Abrams leading the way with 26 points. Deondre Burns poured in an additional 20 points.
Each Fighting Hawks starter scored at least 10 points, but Oral Roberts' bench outscored UND's 24-6. Kienan Walter's 19 points paced the visitors. Marlon Stewart and Billy Brown each added 14 points, while Filip Rebraca and De'Sean Allen-Eikens added 10 points apiece.
UND slumped to 8-10 overall and 2-2 in Summit League action. The Fighting Hawks next travel to South Dakota State at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15.
