TULSA, Okla. — Oral Roberts finished on an 11-2 run to pick up a 79-73 Summit League men's college basketball win over North Dakota State Thursday night before 2,886 fans.
The Golden Eagles started strong, including a 17-2 run midway through the first half and holding a 41-32 halftime lead. The Bison chipped away at the deficit and led 71-68 late before the run from Oral Roberts secured the win.
Starting point guard Vinnie Shahid tallied 25 points including 4 of 9 from deep to lead NDSU. Tyson Ward added 19 points and eight rebounds on 8 of 12 shooting, while Rocky Kreuser posted 15 points.
Deondre Burns and Max Abmas led a balanced scoring attack for Oral Roberts (8-8, 1-2 Summit), with Burns' 22 and Abmas' 21 going along with Kevin Obanor (13) and Emmanuel Nzekwesi (12).
