BISMARCK — The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is looking for information in relation to a moose poaching case that took place early in the spring.
Five adult moose — three cows and two bulls — were fatally shot between April 25 and 30 about six miles southwest of Dunseith. One of the adult moose, a large cow, was pregnant with three calves, two of which were cut out of her.
Report All Poachers is offering a $2,000 reward for any information which leads to a conviction. Anyone with information regarding the illegal capture of the moose is urged to contact Report All Poachers at 701-328-9921 or Jonathan Tofteland, Game and Fish Department district game warden, at 701-201-0703.
