Packers pick up a pair of close victories over Wahpeton

WEST FARGO - West Fargo picked up a pair of one-run Eastern Dakota Conference baseball victories Saturday against Wahpeton.

Camran Bonnema struck out 12 in tossing a complete-game shutout for the Packers in a 1-0 victory.

In the second game, Dan Benson's RBI sacrifice fly gave the Packers a walk-off 2-1 win.

The Packers (17-3, 9-0 EDC) will be the No. 1 seed for the East Region tournament, which starts Thursday.
