MOORHEAD — Moorhead Park Christian's Emily Doeden is one of 15 high school seniors on a watchlist for the Ms. Minnesota Golf award. The award is given to the top male and female high school senior golfers in the state.
The list will get cut down to eight before a winner is announced at a banquet Sunday, June 6, at the Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minn.
Doeden has finished ninth, tied for second and tied for third, respectively, in the last three Class 1A state golf meets. She is committed to play golf at Colorado Christian in Lakewood, Colo.
