FARGO — The “Play It Forward” charity golf event held at the Fargo Country Club last month raised $267,000 for the North Dakota Food Bank, Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, North Country Food Bank and Village Family.

The event, held in early May and telecast on WDAY last Sunday, featured golf professionals Tom Hoge and Amy Olson, retired National Hockey League player Matt Cullen and actor Josh Duhamel. Hoge, from Fargo, teamed up with Cullen, from Moorhead to win the event over Olson, from Fargo, and Duhamel, who grew up in Minot, N.D.

The three-week fundraising campaign was orchestrated by Bell Bank, Forum Communications Company and Dakota Medical Foundation.
