FARGO - The Fargo Post 2 Jets Senior Babe Ruth baseball team, fresh off a state championship, will be heading to Missouri this week.
The Jets, which won the North Dakota Senior Babe Ruth state title at Jack Williams Stadium on Sunday, advances to the Senior Babe Ruth Regional Tournament in Charleston, Mo., which runs Thursday through next Tuesday.
The Jets will play Iowa at 10 a.m. Friday in the first round. The Jets beat Dickinson 8-6 to win the state title.
Jets team members are: Zach Wixo, Ben Spokely, Zander Mairs, Nate Walsh, Issac Rerick, Tyler Carroll, Erik Fischer, Alex Steffen, Chase Liberty, Kris Schneider, Brandon Smith, Paul Rydell, Scott Krabbenhoft, Cole Rokke, Kameron Giffey, Casey Thompson and Joseph Brunner.
