Boys basketball: DGF outlasts Fargo Oak Grove

Minnesota Mr. Basketball candidate Owen Leach and Oak Grove's Trey Hatfield engaged in a high-powered scoring duel in the Rebels' victory on Monday night.

FARGO — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton's Minnesota Mr. Basketball candidate Owen Leach lived up the billing in the Rebels' 85-76 win over Fargo Oak Grove in a cross-border game on Monday.

Leach led the Rebels with 42 points. Teammate Drew Sheely scored 14 points.

Oak Grove's Trey Hatfield was nearly Leach's equal in the scoring ledger, burning the nets for 37 points. The Grovers' Rylee Bakkegard scored 21 points.

DGF improved to 13-3 overall while the Grovers are now 7-6 overall.
