MOORHEAD — West Fargo Sheyenne topped Moorhead 2-1 on Saturday in nonconference boys soccer.

The Spuds took an early 1-0 lead when Mohammed Namuq found the back of the net on an assist from Revar Qaqos. That's all the Mustangs allowed, however, outscoring Moorhead 2-0 the rest of the way for the comeback win.

Sheyenne rose to 9-3-2 overall, while Moorhead fell to 7-2-1.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
