WF Sheyenne 9, GF Red River 2

GRAND FORKS — West Fargo Sheyenne cruised by Grand Forks Red River on Friday in Eastern Dakota Conference action.

Kyra Narum was the winning pitcher for the Mustangs and helped herself offensively, going 2 for 4 with a home run. Kate Geiszler finished 3 for 3 with three RBIs.

Ella Weippert had two hits for Red River.

Sheyenne rose to 8-1 overall and 12-0 in EDC points. Red River dropped to 5-3 overall and 8-2 in EDC points.

Rogers 11, 10, Moorhead 0, 2

FARGO — Rogers rolled to a pair of victories over Moorhead in a Minnesota softball doubleheader at Mickelson Field.

Taylor Kressin went 2 for 2 to lead the Spuds in the five-inning Game 1. Riane Mohagen also had a hit.

Kressin continued to see the ball well in Game 2, finishing with two hits and an RBI to pace Moorhead. Kayla Kraft added a hit, and Maddie Spaeth and Alexa Krueger each scored a run.

The Spuds fell to 8-4 overall, while Rogers rose to 8-6.
