WF Sheyenne 9, Devils Lake 4
WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne surrendered three runs in the first inning, but Devils Lake didn’t get much after that as the Mustangs won for the 12th time in 13 games in an Eastern Dakota Conference matchup on Friday.
Devils Lake led 3-1 after one, but the Mustangs tied it in the second, took the lead in the third, and padded it with two runs in the fourth and three more in the seventh.
Sheyenne’s Makenna Alexander was 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Madison Glienke had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Kate Geiszler was 2 for 2 with two RBIs, and Addie Rolstad and Anyah Moffett both had two hits.
Kyra Narum singled and drove in two runs, while Quinn Thompson singled and had an RBI. Narum went the distance and got the win.
Sheyenne improved to 12-1 overall and is 18-0 in EDC points.

Sartell-SS 6, 4, Moorhead 2, 3
FARGO — Sartell-St. Stephen swept the Spuds in a doubleheader at Tharaldson Park.
In Game 1, Maddie Spaeth went 1 for 3 with two runs scored to lead the Spuds. Taylor Brueske and Riane Mohagen each added a hit.
Kate Gulbranson paced Moorhead in Game 2, finishing 2 for 4 with an RBI. Taylor Kressin went 1 of 3 with a run and one RBI. Spaeth drew two walks and scored two runs with one hit.
The Spuds fell to 11-9 overall.
D-G-F 11, 9, Barnesville 9, 11
GLYNDON, Minn. — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton won on a walk-off in Game 1 to split a doubleheader with Barnesville.
The Rebels overcame a six-run deficit to steal Game 1. Barnesville jumped out to a 9-3 lead after plating six runs in the top of the sixth inning. D-G-F responded with four runs in the bottom of the fifth and two each in the sixth and seventh.
Skylar Spessard hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to give D-G-F the walk-off win. Spessard finished with three hits and three RBIs to pace the Rebels. Makayla Bjelland went 3 for 4 with four runs and an RBI. Evelyn Moe was 2 for 4 with three runs. Lexi Froemke added two hits, a run and an RBI.
Kiana Amundson had two hits and three RBIs for Barnesville in Game 1. Trinity Gregg finished with a team-high four hits with two runs scored.

Katherine Newell knocked in four runs to lead the Trojans in their Game 2 win. Gregg finished with two hits, two runs and two RBIs, while Amundson notched a team-high four hits.
Spessard continued her strong play for the Rebels, finishing with two hits and two RBIs in the second game. Makayla Winter had two hits and two RBIs, while Moe doubled twice, scored two runs and drove in one run. As a team, D-G-F collected 15 hits.
The Rebels moved to 14-3 overall.
Jamestown 10, 10, West Fargo 8, 3
WEST FARGO — Jamestown scored five runs in the seventh inning to wrap up Game 2 and complete a sweep of West Fargo in nonconference play.
In the second game, West Fargo’s Sophie Ochocki hit her second home run of the day, and Mara Lick singled and drove in a run. Grace Wehri and Aubrey Finn both doubled, while Emma Johnson and Delia Osland both singled.
In the first game, Jamestown broke a 7-7 tie with three runs in the top of the seventh and held off the Packers to get the win.
Johnson hit two home runs and finished with five RBIs. Ochocki also homered and drove in two runs. Wehri was 3 for 4 with two doubles and drove in a run and Sydney Dye had two hits.
West Fargo is now 13-6 overall.

Fargo Davies 11, Fargo North 6
FARGO — Davies downed Fargo North in a conference matchup.
The Eagles improved to 3-10 overall and 4-14 in EDC points. North fell to 5-7 overall and 8-10 in EDC points.
Fargo South 12, Devils Lake 2
FARGO — Fargo South cruised by EDC foe Devils Lake in five innings.
Mea Nylander went 2 for 4 with three runs and two RBIs for the Bruins. Hannah Carriveau went 1 of 2 with a triple and a team-best three RBIs. Emily Jordahl had a hit, two runs scored and two RBIs. Adie Wagner doubled, drew three walks and scored three runs.
Hailey Schmitz pitched all five innings for South. She gave up two runs on seven hits with a walk and four strikeouts.
Valley City 22, Fargo South 18
FARGO — The Hi-Liners took down Fargo South in a high-scoring EDC affair.
Valley City rose to 4-12 overall and 6-8 in EDC points. South fell to 4-8 overall and 8-8 in EDC points.
