If statements were being made this week, Barnesville may have made the loudest one.

The Trojans rattled off 43 straight points to beat Detroit Lakes in a first time matchup on the football field. With the season starting to round towards the homestretch, does a win like that signal that the Trojans are beginning to peak at the right time?

In North Dakota, it is officially postseason football time. 9-man playoffs begin on Saturday with first round games.

The eight seeded teams are:

1. LaMoure-Litchville-Marion

2. New Salem-Almont

3. Cavalier

4. Bottineau

5. Nelson County

6. Divide County

8. Hettinger-Scranton
