High school football: Fargo South rolls by Grand Forks Central

GRAND FORKS — Fargo South cruised to a 37-0 win over Grand Forks Central on Thursday in Eastern Dakota Conference Class A football.

Dorian Sandness rushed for three touchdowns for the Bruins. He finished with 76 yards on the ground on eight attempts. Kolby Jones racked up 103 rushing yards and a TD on 13 tries. South QB Kolby Nissen completed 5 of 11 passes for 57 yards. Emanuel Spiyee hauled in two catches for 26 yards and Reis Kessel had one catch for 27 yards.

Zach Thomasson tallied 10 solo tackles with two tackles for a loss to anchor the Bruins defense. Cole Kegbeh had seven total tackles, 3.5 for loss, and an interception return for a touchdown.

The Bruins capped the regular season at 3-5 overall and 3-2 in EDC Class A. GFC ended the regular season at 2-6 overall and 1-4 in the EDC.
