WF Sheyenne 3, Fargo Shanley 0

WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne cruised to an Eastern Dakota Conference sweep over Fargo Shanley on Tuesday to remain undefeated this season.

The Mustangs won the sets 25-21, 25-6, 25-15.

Kailee Waasdorp led Sheyenne with 11 kills and five aces. Khloe Brown tallied six kills and Reagan Bogenreif had five with a team-high 11 digs. Lexus Terhark and Izzy Albrecht each recorded three blocks. Kennedy Colter and Brooke Johnson dished out 16 and 15 assists, respectively.

Katelynn Ommen and Mesiku Hakim tallied seven and four kills, respectively, to pace the Deacons. Ommen served two aces and Carly Hulstein had two blocks. Ella Stimpson had team highs in digs (seven) and assists (nine). Ommen added six digs and Brynn McNeally had five assists.

The Mustangs rose to 16-0 overall and 13-0 in the EDC. Shanley fell to 9-6 overall and 7-5 in the conference.


Fargo South 3, Fargo Davies 2

FARGO — Fargo South edged Fargo Davies 26-28, 25-9, 22-25, 25-22, 15-13 in EDC play.

Emma Dalby had 21 kills and two aces for the Bruins. Gen Gard posted a double-double with 19 kills and 21 digs. Alivia Abel had a near double-double with 13 kills and eight digs. Teigan Malo tallied 10 kills and three blocks. Maddie Jackson racked up 62 assists, two aces and eight digs. Nina Majetich posted a team-high 22 digs with three aces and Amelia Hawley added 14 digs. Marissa Wachala tacked on 10 digs.

Cayla Sailer and Leah Laqua each finished with 13 kills to lead Davies. Laqua posted team-highs in blocks (3.5) and aces (three). Haley Horner dished out 37 assists and Kenzie Sauvageau had a team-high 22 digs. Sailer added 17 digs to complete the double-double and Lalic tacked on 14 digs. Camille Deringer totaled three blocks.

South improved to 12-4 overall and 9-2 in the EDC, while Davies dropped to 8-7 overall and 6-4 in the EDC.

Fargo North 3, GF Central 0

GRAND FORKS — Fargo North rolled to a 25-12, 25-20, 25-18 sweep over Grand Forks Central in an EDC matchup.

Solei Berg paced the Spartans with nine kills, adding seven digs. Reagan Carlson had seven kills and Haidyn Tollefson finished with six. Evy Berg totaled a team-high 10 digs. Betsy Schiltz added eight digs and dished out 27 assists. Ambree Hansen recorded four aces and seven digs. Solei Berg tacked on seven digs and Grace Holm served three aces.

North rose to 15-2 overall and 9-3 in the EDC. GFC fell to 1-15 overall and 1-10 in the EDC.

Bemidji 3, Moorhead 1

MOORHEAD — Bemidji downed Moorhead 25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21 in Minnesota Class 4A, Section 8 play.


Annie Horan and Taliah Triggs each had 11 kills to lead a balanced Moorhead attack. Lily Mathern and Grace Bathurst each tallied 10 kills and Grace Perry had nine with three aces. Bathurst finished with a team-high four blocks, while Horan and Mathern each added three. Madden Bogenreif had a team-high 26 assists and Sarah Boock dished out 23.

Lauren Peterson led the Spuds in digs with 19. Perry totaled 17 digs and Triggs finished with 16.

Bemidji rose to 6-7 overall, while Moorhead fell to 4-8.

WF Horace 3, Valley City 0

VALLEY CITY, N.D. — West Fargo Horace took down Valley City in straight sets, winning 26-24, 25-22, 25-17 in an EDC matchup.

Jordan Christofferson led the Hawks attack with nine kills, while Shaylie Bovkoon and Ella Livingston each added six. Kelby Christofferson served five aces and Alyssa Sommerfeld tallied three. Sommerfeld led the team with 21 digs. Lilia Donnelly had 19 assists and Sydney Schweyen dished out 14.

Horace improved to 6-10 overall and 6-6 in the EDC. Valley City fell to 3-13 overall and 2-10 in the EDC.

Perham 3, D-G-F 0

GLYNDON, Minn. — Perham swept Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 25-19, 25-17, 25-19 in Minnesota Section 8AA action.

Kaleigh Peterson had eight kills to lead the Rebels. Lindsey Nevala dished out 13 assists and Camille Costello totaled 13 digs.


Perham improved to 8-11 overall, while D-G-F dropped to 3-10.

Fosston 3, Park Christian 1

FOSSTON, Minn. — Fosston downed Moorhead Park Christian 25-20, 22-25, 25-9, 25-23 in a Minnesota Class A matchup.

Andie Sandman tallied 10 kills to lead Park Christian. Wynn Tomlinson had seven kills, and Belle Suckert finished with seven kills and 4.5 blocks. Avery Aakre served three aces and Jadyn Rude had two. Aakre and Sandman recorded 27 and 21 digs, respectively, while Ruth Harris added 19. Mia Metzger dished out 31 assists.

Fosston rose to 15-2 overall, while Park Christian fell to 11-5.
