Prep baseball: DGF takes a takes a pair from Pelican Rapids

The Rebels rolled to a win in Game 2 to complete the sweep of a Thursday doubleheader.

PELICAN RAPIDS — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton rode the momentum of a victory in Game 1 to a blowout in Game 2 against Pelican Rapids on Thursday.

The Rebels took the first game 8-6 and rolled to an 18-8 win in the nightcap.

In the late game, DGF's Grant Anderson doubled three times and drove in seven runs. Peyton Aas had two hits and two RBIs. Kaden Altobelli and Brody O'Keefe both had hits and two RBIs, Owen Hoover had two hits and an RBI and Austin Anderson singled and drove in a run.

The the first game, DGF took a four-run lead with two in the top of the seventh and then held off Pelican Rapids, which scored twice in the bottom half.

Kayden Camacho singled and drove in two runs and Aas had a hit and an RBI. Landon Johnson, Grant Anderson and Hoover all drove in runs.
